En Côte d’Ivoire, premier producteur mondial de cacao, des planteurs ont récemment manifesté leur colère à la suite de la mévente de leurs récoltes.
Des milliers de sacs destinés à l’exportation n’avaient pas trouvé d’acheteur pour un total de 350 000 tonnes de fèves. La faute à des opérateurs locaux qui n’ont pas les moyens de faire face aux fluctuations des cours sur le marché international. Le gouvernement ivoirien a annoncé la semaine dernière qu’il allait lancer un audit de la filière cacao.
