RCA: Médecins Sans Frontières pris pour cible par des bandes armées

Des hommes armés ont braqué Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF). Un membre du personnel a été blessé entraînant ainsi la suspension temporaire des activités. Cette attaque contre Médecins Sans Frontières n’est pas la première car en RCA, les humanitaires sont généralement victimes de bandes armées. Alors que la Centrafrique est l’un des pays où les ONG sont le plus présentes au monde, les attaques et braquages sont presque quotidiens.
Pour INSO, chargé de la sécurité des ONG, plus de 300 incidents ont eu lieu depuis le début de l’année. La RCA détient ainsi le record du pays où l’action humanitaire est la moins respectée.
Pour Joseph Inganji, le chef du Bureau de coordination des affaires humanitaires de l’ONU (OCHA) à Bangui, la situation est alarmante. « Nous avons eu des attaques répétées contre les humanitaires. Les compounds des humanitaires ont été visités plusieurs fois par des personnes armées non identifiées. Nous avons plusieurs cas, Kaga-Bandoro, Bria, à Bambari, à Ndjoukou. La situation est vraiment très préoccupante et je voudrais rappeler que les crimes contre les humanitaires sont des crimes contre l’humanité. »
Il y a trois jours également, un incendie criminel a eu lieu dans un des camps de Batangafo, au nord du pays : 137 huttes ont été brûlées, laissant plus de 900 déplacés sans abri. Autant de personnes, qui auront besoin, en urgence, d’aide humanitaire.
